Winter Blues in Calgary

The November 10th show at the Railway Club in Vancouver rocked! Thanks to all those who came. We've been a band for four years and it was nice to finally get to play there. Five days later I was on the move: Eastbound to Alberta to become a lonely old roughneck! My rock-n-roll career (amongst other bad habits) can get a bit costly so I'm in Calgary waiting for my ship to come in. I've been waiting and waiting for a rig to call me up, killing the time by walking the streets and occasionally hitting a pub for an open mic. One afternoon while at the Ship and Anchor I was thumbing through Exclaim Magazine and came across our name. Turns out the new album received an online review, sure made my day.
I figured since I had some down time maybe there would be a last minute cancellation at one of the many places we've played. To my delight I was able to secure two gigs at the Auditorium Hotel in Nanton which I'll be playing solo. So if ya'll are in Cow-town or thereabouts, then make your way down to Nanton on the 19th and 20th and help me drown my winter blues in music and booze.
